In addition to the residential, builder, and commercial services, Home Technology Solutions also offers a group of adhoc services in house and with contracted partnerships that that combined offer end-to-end technology solutions to our clients. 

Design and Engineering

Just as you would hire an architect, landscape designer, or interior decorator, Home Technology Solutions’ design and engineering team can be retained to develop a comprehensive system design. This design and engineering package includes a system functionality overview, components list, pricing, schematics, and blue print mark-ups.

As your project evolves, our designers and engineers continuously keep an eye on the rapidly changing electronic systems industry. HTS stays on the cutting edge of technology, not the bleeding edge. This ensures that you have the most reliable and efficient system available at the time your project is complete.

Project Management

Typically, the missing element in most projects is a single point of contact or someone in charge – a project manager. Home Technology Solutions takes project management very seriously, as it is a key position to ensure that the project goes smoothly and efficiently.

A project manager proactively disseminates project information to all stakeholders, manages the overall schedule, makes sure work is completed on time and within budget, and effectively resolves project issues.  He or she procures necessary equipment for the job, manages the project scope to ensure what was agreed upon is delivered, and is the client‘s “go-to” person. HTS’s project manager is readily available and accessible, and oversees the entire project from conception to completion.

HTS ordinarily has its hand in every aspect of the building project from beginning to end.  It is essential that HTS communicates clearly with every other trade involved with the job.  Our project manager arranges all meetings with the key stakeholders on the job (client, architect, builder, electrician, interior designer, landscape artist, pool contractor, etc.), as well as our internal team (engineering, purchasing, scheduling, installers, programmers, and service department).  Thus, everyone understands the needs of each trade, avoids confusion, and is able to work towards the same goal for the client.

Programming

Home Technology Solutions provides exceptional programming services for all of our clients, whether it is configuring a multi-room system spread throughout the home, or the “universal” remote control for your bedroom.  Our highly trained programmers make sure that the user interface, or simply put, the remote control, is as easy to use as your car radio.

Every piece of electronics in your home needs some level of set-up and programming in order to enable proper communication throughout the entire system.  Once each individual component is addressed, then the main system programming “talks to” and instructs each part to do its thing.  Therefore, the system’s integrity is only as good as the programming.

HTS is confident in their ability and foresight to make sure that every system they conceptualize functions as a whole, works every time and is super intuitive to use.  The result will be an uncomplicated system that requires very little instruction.  

HTS also provides programming services for telephone systems, computer networks, surveillance DVRs, and other devices you may need help with.

Extended Warranties

Home Technology Solutions has contracted with Banker's Warranty Group of Florida to provide clients with extended warranty coverage for all components and installations that they supply and install. These warranties will cover components past the original Home Technology Solutions and individual manufacturer warranty.

Preventive Maintenance Service Contracts

Ongoing preventive maintenance service contracts are a way for Home Technology Solutions to provide long-term outstanding services to our existing clients, while saving them money. It's really simple...

Have you ever been frustrated with an installation because everything works great while the installer is there, but 3 months later something goes wrong? If you call the support technician, then most likely an additional service call charge is in order. Wouldn't it be great if the installation company could be available to support problems ongoing? This is specially true with technology, due to the rapidly changing options.

Home Technology Solutions' Preventive Maintenance Service Contract (PMSC) packages provide ongoing maintenance and support for installations and equipment. This is not an extended warranty (sold separately), but instead a recurring maintenance service plan. Whether a child accidentally messed up the settings on the TV, the cable service provider changed the channel lineup and now the remote doesn't work, or a new gizmo player is out and you would like to incorporate it into your current system. Home Technology Solutions will come out or help you over the phone at no additional cost.

Additionally, PMSCs provide recurring scheduled maintenance to your components and systems. For example, scheduled changes of your central vacuum filter and system cleaning, batteries, and projector bulbs replacements, etc.

In order to provide end-to-end services to our clients, Home Technology Solutions has created partnerships with top notch organizations that work with us to provide unscaled solutions that could not be all done in house. We recognize that no one organization has the skills for all technologies. For example, when you build a house, the builder doesn't actually build the house, but instead intrusts his reputation to knowledgable subcontractors that can together deliver a finished home. It is no different for us. We will sub-contract some services to our partners giving our clients a one-stop solution for everything technology for the home.
